Obsidian is usually black but comes in quite a range of colours, brown,
blue, green, rainbow, red-black, silver and gold-sheen. It is very
shiny, glass-like and opaque. It is quite common and available
worldwide as is molton lava that has cooled so quickly it hasn't had
time to cystallize. I use Snowflake Obsidian and sometimes Mahogany, as
far as it attributes however it works very fast and with great power.
Look into further as each colour has it own effects.
