Lots of people including myself are drawn to Carnelian because it is so vibrant and warm in colour. It is a form of chalcedony a member of the quartz family, hard wearing but sometimes mistaken with Amber because of the variation in shades. When ever I am at a show in Berwick, I have lots of customers who tell me about the Carnelian they have found on our local beach. It's really good that so many of us love stones, they can give you so much pleasure just looking for nice ones! Quite common as found in many countries such as Britian, India, Iceland and Czech Republic. This stone helps you trust yourself and your perceptions.
